Shipping, DOA & Live Arrival Guarantee
Shipping Policy
- Live animals ship via FedEx Overnight. Feeders (cockroaches, mealworms, superworms, isopods, etc.) ship via USPS. We ship Monday–Wednesday only. All orders are Hold for Pickup — no home delivery on live animals.
- Every shipment includes an insulated box, heat or cold pack, Lacey Act labeling, and all required documentation. The Live Arrival Guarantee is valid only when temperatures at both origin and destination are between 50°F and 90°F. We may issue a weather hold outside this range at no penalty to you.
DOA & Live Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee live arrival on all healthy animals as listed. To be eligible:
- Temps must be between 50°F and 90°F at time of shipment
- Package must be picked up promptly upon arrival
- DOA must be reported within 1 hour of first pickup/delivery attempt with both photo and video proof — no exceptions
The Zoo Exotics assumes no responsibility once the animal has been picked up and the 1-hour window has passed. Wild caught animals and animals with disclosed conditions are guaranteed alive but not for noted imperfections. Feeder insects are not covered by LAG.
